This second-story custom vinyl deck installation by Raber Patio Enclosures and Furniture showcases the perfect blend of durability, low maintenance performance, and elevated outdoor design.

The 25’ x 16’ Clubhouse decking features rich Hickory as the main color, completed with Mahogany picture framing and accent borders that added warmth and contrast.

Each structural post is wrapped in crisp white vinyl post covers, creating a clean, polished finish that complemented the home’s exterior.

Challenges
For this project, our client wanted an updated deck area that wouldn't overheat and could stand the test of time. Also, with the deck being on the second floor, it needed to tie together nicely the second-story entryway and the patio below.
Solutions
The custom L-shape stairway created a visual flow to the design, bringing the lower level and the 25’ x16' second-story landing seamlessly together.

The deck, enclosed with Harmony Glass railing (picket style, now discontinued), featured bronze aluminum framing for safety without sacrificing views.

The staircase was finished with a bronze aluminum spindle railing system for strength and visual continuity.
