Fresh Strawberry Pie

When you combine fresh strawberries, sugar, and a dash of love, you end up with our delectable strawberry pie.

  • 1 unbaked pie crust (9 inches)
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 package (3 ounces) strawberry gelatin
  • 4 cups sliced fresh strawberries
  1. Bake pie crust according to the recipe or box instructions.
  2. Cool on a wire rack.
  3. In a saucepan, combine the sugar, cornstarch, and water until smooth.
  4. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes, or until thickened.
  5. Remove from the heat; stir in gelatin until dissolved.
  6. Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes, or until slightly cooled.
  7. Meanwhile, arrange strawberries in the crust.
  8. Pour gelatin mixture over berries.
  9. Refrigerate until set.
  10. Garnish with cool whip.
