Peach Cobbler

As peach season draws near, you can't beat a fresh-from-the-oven cobbler, and this easy-peasy recipe is sure to be a hit!

Ingredients
  • 2 c. sliced peaches
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • ¾ c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. flour
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Topping

  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. corn starch
  • ¼ tsp. salt
Instructions
  1. Place peaches in 8X8 pan.
  2. Mix sugar and butter, then dry ingredients.
  3. Add milk. Spread over peaches.
  4. Combine topping ingredients and pour over batter.
  5. Pour boiling water over all.
  6. Bake at 325 for 50 minutes.
