Potato Haystack Casserole
Ingredients
- 2 lb Frozen Hash Brown Potatoes
- 2 pkg. Ranch dressing mix
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup milk
- 2 lb. Hamburger
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 2 pkg. taco seasoning
- salt and pepper to taste
Cheese Sauce
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup. flour
- 3 cups milk
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 box Velveeta cheese
Instructions
- Melt butter in pan. Add flour. When boiling, add milk, salt, pepper and cheese.
- Mix potatoes with sour cream, milk and dressing mix.
- Fry hamburger with onion and add taco seasoning.
- Layer all ingredients in casserole in order given, then put cheese sauce on top.
- Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
- Before serving, top with crushed nacho chips.
