Pumpkin Pecan Dessert

Ingredients
  • 1 can (15 ounces) pumpkin
  • 1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 package yellow cake mix (regular size)
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1-1/2 cups chopped pecans
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, beat first five ingredients until smooth.
  2. Transfer to a greased 13x9-in. baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle with cake mix and drizzle with butter.
  4. Top with pecans. Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  5. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
