16’ x 15’ Clubhouse Deck in Cobblestone

Challenges
Challenges with this 2nd-story deck project included keeping the decking seamless with our client's walkout patios on the lower level and 2nd-story.

On the 2nd-story, the patio led out to a walkway. On the lower level, the patio led from a walkout basement to a secluded cozy corner hangout with outdoor furniture.

In this case, the 2nd-story deck needed to pull together our client's dynamic outdoor design.

Solutions
The addition of the 16’ x 15’ Clubhouse PVC deck extended the 2nd-story patio, giving more room to add a curved outdoor sofa plus an outdoor fireplace.

The railing system made this hangout kid-friendly while maintaining an open view of the backyard, and the stairway tied together the upper and lower levels.

Results
From providing more shade for the patio below to including a second way to access the back yard, this deck and stairway combo is one of our best examples of tying together function and beauty.

This lovely outdoor area looks as natural and as timeless as the beautiful flower bed curving around it. Long-lasting decking without overheating, cracking, or fading, this installation took our client's outdoor area to the next level (with no compromises on functionality).
