This Raber project featured the construction of a 12’ x 12’ All-Season Gable Style Sunroom built on an insulated floor system. The sunroom included a 4” insulated gable roof that was seamlessly tied into the existing house roof and finished with shingles to match the home for a cohesive appearance.

The wall system was designed with slider-style, high-efficiency glass windows paired with glass knee walls, allowing for ample natural light while maintaining year-round comfort and energy efficiency.

Challenges
Before this sunroom addition, our client's patio, pool, and deck were somewhat disconnected. The outdoor staircase from the second floor connected to the ground-level patio and pool, but there wasn't an area to relax outside near the second story.
Solutions
After the All-Season Sunroom installation, our client had a space that drew together the outdoor area and the second floor. Plus, with the insulated flooring, our client could enjoy their sunroom year-round. They had a space that overlooked the pool below, connected the indoors and outdoors, and hosting inside or outside that much easier.
Results
Built on the second floor, this All-Season Sunroom became another room for relaxing without changing the original floorplan of our client's home. This enclosed space offered another exit to the pool and patio below plus it added privacy for reading, napping, or simply enjoying the outdoors.
