Timber Frame Pavilion Project - Bristol, IN

Project Overview

Made from Douglas fir beams, this timber frame pavilion was installed to offer shade and relaxation next to our client's pool. A hip roof and gable dormer were the perfect complement to our client's colonial-style home. The completed pavilion included a built-in brick fireplace, plus plenty of space for an outdoor table and chairs.

Challenges: The main challenge our client faced was wanting to expand and enhance their background experience. They had an in-ground pool with poolside chairs, but with a fenced in yard, there wasn't much space to entertain or relax.

Solutions: Once the Timber Frame Pavilion was installed, it included a outdoor fireplace plus shade for outdoor furniture. Outdoor string lights and the fireplace added a warm ambience during the evening, and the gorgeous timber frame ceiling offered shelter from the sun during the day.

Results: In the end, this timber frame pavilion created a poolside retreat for our client and their guests. From added space for outdoor dining to an area to cool off on hot summer days, this pavilion transformed our client's outdoor experience.
